Javier de la Torre was born in Madrid. During his childhood in this city his father, who is also a photographic enthusiast, taught him to use a SLR camera. In 2000 bought his first Nikon SLR, and in 2007 he acquired his first Nikon DSLR. Currently he use a D800, a D7000 as a second body and a J2. Photography has become the perfect excuse to travel around the world with his wife, taking pictures of the most amazing landscapes and cities.
His main interest lies in landscape, more specifically with the Nikon 14-24 for long exposures. Thanks to HiTech and their 165mm filters in combination with the LucrOit filter holder, now he can improve his photos, taking them to higher level. "The long exposures technique gives photos a fantastic atmosphere that makes me go crazy... these kind of photos have something magical"
