I was born and raised on the picturesque island of Tenerife, Spain. While growing up my parents refused to have a television at home, unlike everyone else. I therefore spent my childhood exploring the great outdoors which enhanced my connection with nature. I engaged in outdoor activities such as surfing, snorkeling, and hiking to name a few.

It wasn't till 2008 and after years of frustration of not being able to portray the beautiful and extremely diverse landscapes of Tenerife that I purchased my first DSLR. I was instantly hooked and my passion for landscape photography erupted. At the time there was little information on using filters but I started experimenting with them to balance exposures. It was very exiting and at time difficult but my passion kept me going and soon enough learned to master them on my own.

A successful shot not only depends on hours of dedication like waking up very early or hiking endlessly on the search but also a strong connection with the subject. I enjoy using traditional analogue techniques with the help of filters which is trademark of my work. I believe that not only does it give more dramatic and artistic results but it's also challenging and lots of fun! Combined with minimal post processing gives the solid results of my work. I feel that all these factors are reflected when we take a photo in an invisible but present way, similar to how we don't see but feel body language.

I hope you enjoy viewing my photos just as much as I have enjoyed making them.
